Core Trainings uses an experiential based training approach
that is facilitator led and participant driven. By encouraging
innovative group exercises, and real life practical applications,
students and staff experience a hands-on approach to
understanding the principles of relationships and leadership.
CORE TRAININGS...Services
CORE TRANSITIONS -  A peer to peer mentoring program where every
incoming student is mentored by an accomplished and caring upperclassman.
Through these connections, and intentional relationships, the transition
process for the younger students is eased by helping them steer through the
social mine fields, and guiding them toward academic and personal success.

CORE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY -  An intensive, on-site, interactive forum
where academic and/or athletic student leaders receive a customized, one day
training that builds leadership and life skills. With a “pay it forward”component,
students are empowered to put into action all they have learned.
CORE CONNECTIONS:  A Guide to Teacher-Student Advisory-
A program that brings teachers and students together through activities and
discussion, centered on core themes that are essential for building one’s
character and foundation for success. Coaching in set up, “soft skills” training
for staff, curriculum and yearlong support is available

LEADERSHIP FOR LADIES-  A powerful, one day, on site training designed
specifically for teen age girls. The trainings session provides an opportunity
for girls to develop leadership skills, build self-esteem, and apply social skills in
a variety of settings. Through interactive, hands-on group exercises, the
participants will use their leadership skills to form relationships and understand
the "power of nice".
LEARNING TO LEAD-  This leadership program is designed for middle school
students. This one day training helps students develop a leadership mindset
by introducing and describing leadership behavior, and opportunities to use it
in a way that middle school students can understand.
BULLYING: Peers In Prevention is a school wide program designed to
build a coalition of students, whose focus is to increase bullying awareness,
and to undertake the appropriate actions to help
prevent it. Students learn,
teach and promote strategies to influence their peers’ attitudes and behaviors
towards bullying.
Includes: Student and staff training by Core Trainings'
facilitators as well as follow up resources for classroom sessions.
