Structure of Our Day…

includes time for instruction, experiential activities, and interaction among small groups. The participants will explore their strengths, identify their talents and discuss how to transition them in their life.

Our Focus…
Building Meaningful Relationships

With the introduction of “relational leadership,” participants begin to understand that leadership really is all about getting along with others. They will chart, discover and capitalize on their unique behavioral strengths. This awareness provides a platform to break down barriers, reduce conflicts and foster meaningful relationships and connections by adapting to the needs of others.

The training emphasizes that it is essential that ladies learn to respect individual differences, and value the strengths that differences provide a group. Experiential activities demonstrate the value of diversity and promote the concept of acceptance.

At The Core provides an intensive, one day, on-campus forum where young men experience a hands-on approach to grasping the principles of leadership and relationships. By explaining leadership behaviors and attitudes in a relevant manner that they can understand, participants begin to grasp how their leadership skills can apply in daily life and help them to develop into men of character within their school and community.
The theme of relational leadership is woven into activities and discussions as they learn the value of fostering meaningful relationships and connections by adapting to the needs of others. As a result, an environment of acceptance, collaboration and inclusiveness is created.

Learning to Lead (leadership for the middle shooler)

CoreTrainingSlide4
This is a program for Middle Schools, a fun and effective one day training. It is done on site, and provides an opportunity for young students to become aware of, and enhance their leadership potential by explaining leadership behaviors and attitudes in a “relevant” manner that the middle school student understands. More importantly, they begin to grasp how their leadership skills can apply in daily life and for the future. A “pay it forward” element to the training reinforces to students that leading by serving others around them is a more effective “tool” of leadership. As young leaders develop greater self-confidence in their ability to make a difference in the school and community, the attractiveness of being a leader increases.
